A drunk New Zealand driver cracked open another can of beer as he waited to be rescued.
Paul Sneddon, 47, was trapped in his vehicle after overturning it so to relieve the boredom he decided to have another drink, even though he was already over the limit.
When asked why he did it, Sneddon told the court: "I had nothing else to do."
It was also revealed when police asked him how much he had to drink, he replied: "Plenty."
The court in Palmerston North fined and banned him.
