A circus is offering free counselling to anyone who is scared of clowns.
John Lawson's Circus - which opens in Newent, Gloucestershire, England, next week - says people who suffer from coulrophobia will get the session to help them overcome their irrational terror.
Ringmaster Attila Endresz hopes it will encourage any members of the public nervous about going to the circus to come and see the show.
Endresz believes Hollywood is to blame for the scary persona clowns seem to have.
Endresz said: "It is surprising how many people seem to be frightened of clowns. Although you would always expect to see a clown at the circus, some adults react with terror. The situation has been made worse by the media. There are many horror films such as Stephen King's 'It' or even The Joker in Batman that portray the clown in a sinister light."
