An American robber was forced to call emergency services after he got stuck breaking into a shop.
The hapless thief called 911 after he lodged himself in the window of a store in South Boston after misjudging the size of the space he had kicked in.
Although he had kept the area hidden to help him break in effortlessly, the entire incident was caught on the shop's CCTV (closed circuit television) camera.
Footage shows bemused police officers arriving at the scene believing he was in trouble, before realising he had attempted to break in himself.
