A British criminal is being allowed to break his curfew to get free fish and chips every day.
Martin MacLean - who wears an electronic tag - has had the conditions of the band changed to allow him to visit his local take-away shop to collect any leftover food each night.
The 35-year-old man - who lives in Lerwick, in the Shetland Islands, was tagged for three months after pleading guilty to stealing a suitcase, passport and mobile phone.
After repeatedly breaching the order to collect a late night snack, the terms were eventually changed.
