A US gambler had to return his $2,000 jackpot.
The 55-year-old man - who won gold at Elrie's Presque Isle Downs & Casino - must now forfeit his winnings because he'd previously banned himself from all casinos under a state program for problem gamblers.
According to the rules of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board's self-exclusion program, the man will also be charged with trespassing, after signing up to the five year plan as a way of trying to treat his addiction.
The money will instead go to a compulsive and problem gambler treatment fund.
