A US animal shelter is seeking donations of Viagra to help save a sick pit bull.
Staff from Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center in Huntington, New York, are desperately looking for donations of the little blue pills - which are more commonly used by men who wish to give their sex lives a boost - in order to save six-year-old Ingrid.
The sick dog needs at least two of the pills every day or she will die from heart failure, claim the vets.
The shelter have taken the unusual step of asking Viagra users to drop off their unused tablets, which cost around $10 apiece, in order to save her life.
